West End Theatre Trip
A group of Key Stage 4 girls headed into the West End to watch the theatre production of &Juliet to complement their English Literature lessons. The group thoroughly enjoyed this hilarious version of the most famous love story of all time, that has been rewritten to look at how Juliet’s famous ending could be her beginning. The group enjoyed it’s messages of self-discovery, second chances and choosing your own fate and we all thought the music was fantastic.
The girls had travelled into central London undeterred by a tube strike and ventured into China Town for a pre-theatre meal on 27th November. At the restaurant we ordered a Chinese buffet and all encouraged each other to try new foods. The conversation flowed and the girls supported each other with their views, talking about some challenges that they are facing.
After a full meal, and a stop for some Bubble Tea, we then set off to Covent Garden to see the Christmas lights before we headed to the Shaftesbury Theatre to watch the show. We even saw some snow!
