TSH Governor visit

Visiting Governor

By Fiona Wilkins - February 9th, 2024 | Posted in Article

We are extremely grateful to all our local governors who give their time and expertise to work with us at The Skills Hub. We are always delighted when they are able to visit during the school day and see all the hard work that goes on in our school.

Michelle Gibbons, who is a teacher at a local school in Hillingdon, has been a governor for over six years and is a familiar face to many of our staff and students. She has the double accolade of having taught some of our students and even some staff members and it is great when she can catch up with her former students during her visits.

We are currently looking to recruit governors to join our local governing body which we share with The PRIDE Academy. This is a voluntary role and we are currently looking for local governors who may have skills and experience in Estates, IT, Health & Safety, Community Engagement and Marketing and Leadership or Chairing. If you would like to find out more please visit the governor recruitment page on our website.
