Summer Fair Fun
We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana, to our Summer Fair on Friday 14th July. It was a joint celebration with The PRIDE Academy, our sister school, and next-door neighbours.
The theme of this year’s fair was Careers and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and we were lucky to have several local firms and apprenticeship providers in attendance to talk to students about the opportunities available to them after they finish school.
There were also a number of activities for the students to take part in, including controlling robots in the school hall and the pit stop challenge with the car mechanics team in the car park.
Students particularly enjoyed the fair ground attractions and arcade in the PRIDE Academy sports hall. There was a wipe out challenge, arcade games, a driving challenge and a test your strength mallet.
The tombola sold out in record time, and everyone enjoyed eating the BBQ lunch and cakes.
All in all, it was a fantastic event, which everyone enjoyed.
