Students pay their respects to the Queen
As a mark of respect, The Skills Hub took students who are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award over to Windsor Castle to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II. The students laid some flowers alongside the other floral tributes that had been left and took the opportunity to reflect on the Queen’s life of service and devotion to the country.
It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to celebrate the life of the Queen and make the link between the experiences and skills they are gaining on the award scheme that was set up by the late Queen’s husband, who passed away last year.
