The Skills Hub (TSH) is a co-educational Alternative Provision (AP) that caters for students in the London Borough of Hillingdon who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons, predominantly permanent exclusion.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how students perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
The Skills Hub provides full-time education for children as an interim arrangement while appropriate substantive placements are being secured or a child is deemed ready to return to their mainstream school
We want to make your experience at The Skills Hub about much more than simply your curriculum.
Parents and carers are the most important people in the lives of our students. In order for our work to be successful, we depend very much on their co-operation.
The Wilberforce Pathway is designed for students that aspire to attain 5 or more GCSEs and generally academic qualifications. They will have the option to choose three academic subjects such as English Literature, citizenship, history, and combined science at GCSE level as well as focusing on GCSE English, maths and science (biology). They will also have the opportunity to attain an additional GCSE in English (Cambridge iGCSE English Language). The aim of the Wilberforce Pathway is to have the student (PEX) reintegrated after 6 weeks.
