Every Friday at The Skills hub we run our Extended Learning Curriculum. This programme provides our young people with a personalised, culturally rich learning opportunity which they choose each term. The ELC programme is delivered through a range of different activities and subjects students might not get to experience in their regular school timetable.

The aim of the programme is to develop character, resilience and motivation, with the opportunity of gaining meaningful qualifications (AQA unit awards) in each pathway to boost the employability of each student after they leave TSH and post education. Our students at The Skills Hub highly value the programme and have an active voice in which subjects and activities are selected each term, some of the most favourite are cultural cuisine, football coaching, gym instructing and arts and crafts.
