Parental Feedback

Firstly I would like to apologise, as prior to my son attending The Skills Hub I had a preconception about the school and I was adamant my son would never attend. In actual fact, The Skills Hub has been the best thing that has happened to my son; the support and kindness you have all shown him and I, is second to none, no judgment, no prejudice, just pure empathy, understanding and upmost support and for that I am eternally grateful.

Today for the first time I witnessed my son show restraint and self-control which is the result of the mentoring, guidance and the tools The Skills Hub have given him. I think the investment you put into the kids is something to be commended and mainstream schools could learn a thing or two regarding your leadership skills. Thank you for giving my son the second chance and fresh start that he needed, and for giving him the tools to be successful in his transition back into mainstream. May all your good work continue to help transform the lives of other young children that were previously misunderstood.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for encouraging, and giving my son the confidence back, which as his mother, is a delight to see.

As a parent of a child who struggled in primary and secondary main stream schools academically and socially, I think this school is amazing, instead of labelling and rejecting it's students for their behaviours, it focuses and encourages their real talents to come to life. This school sees every student as an individual and works towards getting the best out of them with patience, time and understanding. My child has thrived and reached so many academic and personal goals that she is finally who she wants to be and is happier, so thank you.
