Music students inspired by rapper
Students who have been taking part in Music Technology as their extended learning curriculum opportunity were blown away when rapper SL turned up to their session on Friday 28th April. The students wasted no time in asking their musical hero about his inspiration behind his tracks such as Gentlemen and Tropicana.
They were stunned to learn that SL had his first success at the age of 17 and with a budget of barely £100. He told the Skills Hub students to keep working and to follow their own creative paths and find the music within.
One student performed the rap he had been working on for SL and was excited to receive positive feedback. Everyone had their photos taken with the rapper and were left inspired to keep working at their music.
