We are looking for people who are passionate about working with students that present with mental health needs and challenging behaviours and can remain calm and non-judgemental when under pressure.
We require the post holder to be responsible for our Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the coordination of our school enrichment programme.
You must be confident teaching Physical Education up to, and including, GCSE standard.
An ideal candidate will:
- • Have UK QTS
- • Be highly motivated and passionate about teaching
- • Have a positive attitude
- • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- • Be determined to provide high levels of teaching
All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The Skills Hub is a secondary co-educational alternative provision predominantly working with students who are at risk of or are permanently excluded from mainstream education. The school aims to provide a therapeutic environment to support young people’s academic journey and psychological wellbeing.
