Job Description

TSH – Maths Teacher – JD and PS

Person Specification

An enthusiastic, engaging and well qualified teacher (QTS) is required to teach mathematics at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Proven track record to secure outcomes in GCSEs and Functional Skills. Excellent communication skills, to inspire and motivate.

Experience of effective teaching with students with a wide range of emotional, behaviour difficulties – with an ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

The Skills Hub is a secondary co-educational alternative provision predominantly working with students who are at risk of or are permanently excluded from mainstream education. The school aims to provide a therapeutic environment to support young people’s academic journey and psychological wellbeing.
