Job Description

Deputy Headteacher – JD 08.10.2015

The Skills Hub is a Pupil Referral Unit responsible for the education and reintegration of disaffected young people. The Centre is a successful alternative education provision the success of which is continually improving.  The school became a sponsored academy within The Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT) family on 1st September 2015.

Our Deputy Head Teacher will need to:

be an outstanding leader, with the commitment to develop The Skills Hub as a centre of excellence for students with emotional and behavioural difficulties
be an exceptional classroom practitioner with the ability to help improve teaching throughout the school
demonstrate the ability to raise pupils’ standards of attainment and progress
have a record of raising standards
have experience in successfully managing change
be committed to working in partnership with parents and carers, other schools, colleges, businesses and other agencies to promote the best possible outcomes for our students
