Jack Petchey Winner

JD joined The Skills Hub in November 2019 as a young lady with low self-confidence and who was quite introverted. At first, she was very reluctant to stay in a classroom, did very little work and would not engage in discussions within her lessons.

Over the last school year, JD has grown in confidence, gained numerous achievement points, improved her attendance and now stays in lessons, engaging in class discussions. She is polite, kind and a very focused young lady who has made great steps in increasing her confidence and now has the confidence to help and encourage others around her. More recently JD attended our ‘Re-imagine your future’ event at The Novotel Hotel, where she stood out, amongst her peers, as a very mature and positive influence at this event.

Well done JD!

Thank you, and God bless you for all the work you have done with my son. It feels like I have my son back.
