The Skills Hub (TSH) is a co-educational Alternative Provision (AP) that caters for students in the London Borough of Hillingdon who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons, predominantly permanent exclusion.

This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how students perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.

Admissions

The Skills Hub provides full-time education for children as an interim arrangement while appropriate substantive placements are being secured or a child is deemed ready to return to their mainstream school

Parents

Parents and carers are the most important people in the lives of our students. In order for our work to be successful, we depend very much on their co-operation.

Improved Punctuality Reward Trip

Students with the most improved punctuality during the first half term were rewarded with a trip to Gravity Wandsworth. They enjoyed some fun activities including mini golf and karting.

It is really important that student attend The Skills Hub on time every day and the attendance officer works closely with families to achieve good punctuality and attendance. Arriving on time ensures that students have the opportunity to have something to eat, catch up with their friends and members of staff before lessons start, so good punctuality means they can have the best start to the day.

We are pleased to be able to reward students with fun activities such as this trip thanks to our Jack Petchey grants. Next half term, students with good and improved attendance will have a rewards trip.
