Class of 2022 Graduation

We were delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students with a glitzy graduation ceremony on Friday 24th June at the Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow. After two years of restrictions on gatherings, it was fantastic for all the whole community that surrounds The Skills Hub to come together to celebrate the achievements of our young people.

Principal Paul Chambers told the young people, “Go Forth and claim your future. We think you are extra special, because you have learnt not to give up even when things have been difficult. We hope you will take memories of today and of your time at The Skills Hub with you.”

Shakai, speaking on behalf of the students, said, “The Skills Hub is more than just an Alternative Provision, we are a small family.”

His fellow Year 11 student Beau Bambi said “We have received an education we will never forget. We have been accepted for who we are and shown that we are Mainstream Education’s loss.”

Our thanks to all the organisations who support The Skills Hub throughout the year and to the parents and carers who have entrusted their young people into our care.

Thank you, and God bless you for all the work you have done with my son. It feels like I have my son back.
