Birds of prey

As part of Super Friday students at the Skills Hub had the opportunity to attend workshops on birds of prey.

This involved a visit from some feathery friends! Students enjoyed demonstrations from different birds and learning about each of them, and even had the chance to hold them. Students listened intently to learn about the intelligence levels of different birds as well as the different types of claws and physical features – and how this is related to the birds’ environments and how it affects their hunting skills.

Everyone really enjoyed learning about all the birds and were really excited to be able to hold a variety of unusual animals, saying “it was very good and I would love them to come again” and “it was funny watching all the girls scream when the birds got closer”!

Thank you, and God bless you for all the work you have done with my son. It feels like I have my son back.
