Arts Award

To achieve an Arts Award, young people take on challenges in an art form, participate in arts activities, experience arts events, become inspired by artist and by leading others. Arts Award’s flexible framework can be based around any arts or media activity and can be offered in any organisation including schools and cultural organisations, as well as through youth programmes – in effect, wherever young people have creative input into their activities and the chance to work with artists and arts professionals.

Here at the Skills Hub this is managed by an Arts Award advisor by the name of A Fletcher:

“Our mission is to support young people to enjoy the arts, to connect with and take part in the wider arts world, and develop creativity, communication and leadership skills. We want this to reflect many different interest and ambitions, encourage individual development and help young people to define their creative futures”

Mr A Fletcher

Thank you, and God bless you for all the work you have done with my son. It feels like I have my son back.
