All the fun of the Fayre!

It’s that time of the year again! The Skills Hub and Young People’s Academy came together for a fun filled Summer Fayre!

This time the weather on our side, with a beautiful day of sunshine, ensuring everyone spent the whole day outside enjoying all the activities planned. Students enjoyed the bucking bronco, inflatable army assault course, test your strength, football, a caricaturist, cakes stalls and a tombola. There was a raffle where students had an opportunity to win vouchers for their local JD Sports, a prize chosen by themselves!

Special guests for the day included the Mayor of Hillingdon; Councillor Carol Melvin, and Councillor David Simmonds; Deputy Leader of Council and Cabinet Member for Education. The day had another roaring entrance from Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A) who caught attention of all the students and remained the favourite for the third year in a row!

Joe, a student from Year 8 said “it was the best day ever. My family came to see me at school and they saw me on a really cool motorbike!”

Ms Watson said “ It was a great day. The weather made everyone happy to be there and enthusiastic about taking part in all the activities. It was fantastic to see the two schools come together yet again to create such a successful event, there were a lot of smiles that day! We even had a few ex-students join the event who had left the school several years ago!”

Thank you, and God bless you for all the work you have done with my son. It feels like I have my son back.
